Transportation Solutions with decades of experience. At the Kokkola factory we
manufacture vehicular superstructures, drawbar trailers, curtain
superstructures, semi-trailers and equipment for tractors. With our modern and
practical solutions Your transports will be effective and loading and unloading

Quality means durability. Every step in both planning
and manufacturing are performed with care concerning every lock, seal, seam and
hinge. As an example of road safety, all electric and air hoses run inside
pipes, protected from weather and external impacts.
The benefit of a small company is the direct contact
with the customer whose feedback and ideas are highly considered when planning
the product. The customers’ individual wishes and demands promote the product
development as much as the modern CAD-technology. Efficiency and lightness of
construction in the right proportion to strength, durability and traffic safety

We deal with registrations, surveys, and various
approvals and contacts with the authorities before delivering you the finished
product. We are an ISO 9001 certified company which, in turn, ensures a high quality through line.
We deliver you a complete product – Keys in hand. After
the delivery you are free to get out on the road and you can be sure that your
product will last both rough wear and observation.
1956 In March the first workshop was
completed and Erik and Levi started repair work. Very heavy forging work was
carried out as a repair of agricultural machinery. It was only a few years
later that the production of own products started.
It was mainly platforms
for Bedford and Gatz trucks that were manufactured. The platform was made of
wood and all the locks and hinges were forged themselves. Later it was
installing of Nummi tipping cylinders and cranes. Also a spare part stock for
Nummi was held by the brothers Tylli. At one stage, there was also
manufacturing of wheelbarrows.
1971 it was time to expand the business and a
larger production facility was built next to the old one. The Brothers Tylli
repair shop employed at the time 5-6 people and was completely employed with
their own production.
1989 was it time for generational shift, 3
brothers and 3 cousins continued the business and Göran Tylli was appointed as
CEO.
1992 the company was changed to partnership and
the name to Tyllis Verkstad, öppet bolag - Tyllin Korjaamo, avoin yhtiö.
1993 painting
facilities were hired from Hartman Auto at Ängsgatan.
1994 the
company form was changed to limited company, Tyllis Verkstad Ab - Tyllin
Korjaamo Oy.
1996 the property was bought at Ängsgatan and
the entire production was moved from Kaustar.
1999 a separate blast hall was built.
2000 Tylli's production hall was hit by a fire.
In connection with the renovation, both the office space and the production
hall were enlarged. In the same year, the company name was changed to Tyllis Oy
Ab.
2001 the new spaces were
ready.
2003 the older building was bought on the site.
2004 the company received quality certificate
ISO 9001: 2000 and welding standard EN 729-3: 1995. The company employs 32
people.
2005 was again a year of expansion when the new
production hall was completed in October and the spaces increased by 1000 m2.
2006 was celebrated 50th anniversary and a new
paint box (200 m2) was ready in March. The company employs 42 people.
2016 was celebrated the 60th anniversary. More
production space was planned.
2017 starts the construction of production
spaces as well as a new blasting hall and paintbox (3000 m2). The company
employs about 45 people.
Tyllis is a growing
